Welcome back! We hope you had an enjoyable half-term. To kick-start our science learning, Year 2 children visited Saltram Forest School to learn about different habitats. Their favourite activity was choosing a woodland animal and working as a team to create a habitat for their animal using the environment. The children worked well as a team and created very thoughtful habitats which included a strong shelter with leaves and feathers for comfort. The children enjoyed tree rubbing and bird watching too. A huge well done to Year 2 as they were praised for their behaviour and teamwork by the rangers and volunteers.
