New Entrants' 26/27

Here is all the relevant information about our new entrants to Foundation 26/27.

 

On Thursday 23rd April an email was sent to all new families welcoming them to Compton. Attached was a Welcome Letter that contained all important dates moving forward and also assigned each child to either Group A or Group B. This was sent to the email address that was used to apply for your child's place. If you have not received this email, please contact the school office on 01752 771539 as soon as possible so we can resend this important information to you.

 

Welcome Meetings

We will be holding 2 welcome meetings at school. The meeting for children in Group A is on Wednesday 3rd June at 9:15am and the meeting for children in Group B is on Thursday 4th June at 9:15am. If you are unable to attend your child's allocated date, please contact the school office to let us know. During this meeting there will be an opportunity for the children to spend time in their new classroom meeting some of the Foundation staff and their new classmates.

During the welcome meeting, you will receive a New Entrants Pack. This will contain important paperwork that must be completed in full and returned to the school office along with your child's original birth certificate (which we will take a photocopy of). We ask that this be handed in to the school office no later than Friday 3rd July as this will allow us enough time to manually add all 60 children's details onto our system ready for their first session in school on Monday 7th September.

During the welcome meeting, you will also have the opportunity to sign up for a home visit from two members of our Foundation team. These visits take place from Wednesday 2nd to Friday 4th September (am or pm). Further information regarding this will be provided at the meetings.

 

Breakfast & After-School Club

Please note that until the children are in school full time from Monday 21st September they will be unable to access our breakfast club or after-school club. If you would like further details about either of these clubs, please contact the school office.
